James opened the meeting at 5:00 P.M. at the house of the gracious host Denny Zotter.
James passed out the By-Laws, which the group voted on to put into effect as of February's Meeting. If any one has any objections to the by-laws please e-mail James Sites.
Nominations and voting of board members was held and James Sites is President, Daniel Kulick is Vice President, The Secretary position is OPEN so if anyone can make the meetings and lend a little of their time please step forward and help the club out.  Treasurer is Denny Zotter.
Special Membership will be added to the by-laws allowing Immediate family members and Designated drivers to attend the meetings to participate but not to have a vote or say.
Shawn Wood is going to put the minutes on the web-site as well as updates.
Big Brew days are going to be held at mid-late spring as well as in the fall.
Dan Kulick is going to host a Stone Beer Brew session some time in April or May. If anyone is interested in participating with him please let him know at dankulick@yahoo.com.
The club will try to keep everyone posted on what Homebrewing competitions are going on if anyone would like to participate and get their beers scored and rated.

February's meeting will taste and profile Chocolate Beers and Dan Kulick is going to bring in an Extra Dark Double Chocolate Bar Bock which he dry hopped and used almost 2 Pounds of Fermented Cocao Beans in the secondary.  Please bring a sample of your own homebrew or your favorite commercial Chocolate beer to the February Meeting Feb. 20th 2010 at 5p.m. at Denny's Home in Cabot.  
Daniel Kulick will be bringing Bavarian soft pretzels and various dipps for the meeting in February.
The members present agreed that some sort of snacking food is needed for the meetings to help with the alcohol consumed with the tastings. Dan Kulick with start with Feb's meeting.
The Meeting wrapped up at around 8:30 p.m. with the member's agreeing that the profiling session was a great example and sampling of some great Beers!  Nugget Nectar from Troegs Brewing Company in Harrisburg, PA will be hitting the beer distributors in the area. If you are a fan of BIG Hops than pick up a case when you can before it's gone till next year.
